Hassan Jubair | Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET)

B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

“The Lucid Hope Scholarship (LHS) is a profoundly life-changing opportunity that transcends simple financial support. For me, it represents a powerful recognition of my resilience, hard work, and deep dedication to making a palpable difference in my community—a validation that would inspire me to continue this journey.

As an individual driven by a passion for research, innovation, and youth empowerment, this scholarship would be the catalyst needed to expand my impact and proudly embody the LHS program’s core values of hope, perseverance, and progress.

Furthermore, joining the LHS family means becoming part of an esteemed network of visionary leaders committed to forging a better future for Bangladesh. This community would motivate me to push the boundaries of my scientific and technological research and fulfill my commitment to mentoring the next generation of ambitious dreamers. Being selected would be both a tremendous honor and a profound responsibility that I would carry with immense pride and purpose.”

Sohag Miah Antor | Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST)

Undergraduate in Mathematics

“For me, the Lucid Hope Scholarship (LHS) signifies far more than financial aid; it represents a powerful recognition of my journey and a tangible hope for realizing my full potential. Hailing from a rural background with limited resources, I deeply understand how financial constraints can restrict passionate learners.
This scholarship would not only lift a significant financial burden from my family and allow me to focus fully on my B.Sc. studies, but it would also provide the essential guidance I need to thrive. I believe the mentorship and leadership development opportunities offered by Lucid Hope are crucial. Though I currently struggle with communication and leadership—challenges I am actively addressing through activities like the Debate Club—I am confident that LHS support will help me grow into a more capable and confident leader, preparing me for advanced studies abroad and my future career.
Ultimately, I aspire to return home after my higher studies to contribute directly to my community, specifically by supporting students who face the same struggles I overcame. The LHS, to me, is a beacon that uplifts students from modest backgrounds, affirming that our dreams and ambitions are truly attainable. Being selected would not just acknowledge my past efforts, but inspire me to lead with an even greater sense of purpose and commitment.”
