Lucid Hope Scholarships for Bangladesh was founded by the couple named Alpona Khan and Rasel Zaman. The couple was born in Bangladesh and left the country at an early age. Currently, they live in southeast Michigan, USA. Alpona and Rasel have a young son. While raising a young son, they understand that having a strong family and community support is vital to flourish one’s full potential. They always had a vision of giving back to help those who are less fortunate and can overcome their struggles with a helping hand. Among many issues in Bangladesh, the lack of funding for college student’s education stood out the most to them. Alpona and Rasel chose to help the students of Bangladesh who have potential for a bright future but are financially unfortunate. They believe that having a good education is very important and it can shape an individual’s future.
